Growing up in and around the Edmonton area has provided many opportunities to adventure into the world of art and photography.  With the vast open fields and the densely treed forests, there is never a time where something interesting to photograph is waiting right in front of your eyes.

With the many opportunities and resources that are available in Alberta, it created a great interest in photography and using this interest to create a skill that would be more than just a hobby.  So my adventure of design and photography school began.

It has been a long road in my process to get to the point in my schooling career that I am currently at now.  Prior to applying at Grant MacEwan University for the Design and Photography program, I was working towards a degree in Biology specializing in Immunology.  As interesting as this was, it just did not spark a passion that wanted me to continue on in that field.  So after three years of that degree I decided that i should really find schooling for a career that I have and interest in.
